Good Times to Bad Times

So Tiff and I went to watch the sunset at the cliff. I swear, that is the most scenic location in all of San Diego!

That view gets me everytime! It makes me wonder, Maybe I can work and live in SD. IT isn't that bad. You see, I was stuck between two jobs. One had been offered to me already as a technician at SIO while the other position was a job I interviewed for at Glendale as a Mechanical Engineer. I had really wanted to work at the Glendale one because it was what I always imagine an engineer doing. Planning, designing, fabricating, troubleshooting....this was what I always wanted to do. But here in SD I still had the SIO position offered to me. Working with he electromagnetic signals of sharks sounded really cool as well. I also got to work right next to the beach and I get the UCSD health care plan on top of it. Plus I get to stay with Tiffany.

It was a difficult choice indeed.

I got my solution the following morning. The Glendale position had passed up on my candidacy for a more qualified person. I was crushed but relieved as well. The choice ahead of me was clear.

On a more lighter note, here a picture of our dinner yesterday. Lemon grass chicken skewer with rice and veggies. Yummy!

Lakers win!

Lakers beat the Celtics in this heavily anticipated matchup! Kobe struggled throughout the game but came up CLUTCH with a fade away basket with 7 seconds left in regulation. Bynum and Gasol powered the post as the Lakers came back from a 11-point deficit. Awesome work!

Also gotta love Ron Artest flop. LOL Legendary to secure the ball back for the Lakers!!!!

Heading to a so-called "Hike" with Tiff!

Jobs

Things look to be picking up on the Earning money of the spectrum. Just had a phone interview with Laserfische, while it could be better it went okay. I got an interview tomorrow with UCSD SIO for a Developmental Technician position and the UCSD Career Fair is on too. I also got a group interview for a Manufacturing Engineering position at Carlton Foundry so hope that goes well.
