That view gets me everytime! It makes me wonder, Maybe I can work and live in SD. IT isn't that bad. You see, I was stuck between two jobs. One had been offered to me already as a technician at SIO while the other position was a job I interviewed for at Glendale as a Mechanical Engineer. I had really wanted to work at the Glendale one because it was what I always imagine an engineer doing. Planning, designing, fabricating, troubleshooting....this was what I always wanted to do. But here in SD I still had the SIO position offered to me. Working with he electromagnetic signals of sharks sounded really cool as well. I also got to work right next to the beach and I get the UCSD health care plan on top of it. Plus I get to stay with Tiffany.
It was a difficult choice indeed.
I got my solution the following morning. The Glendale position had passed up on my candidacy for a more qualified person. I was crushed but relieved as well. The choice ahead of me was clear.

On a more lighter note, here a picture of our dinner yesterday. Lemon grass chicken skewer with rice and veggies. Yummy!
