Future - For What It Is Worth

So here I am again attempting to resurrect my blog. Hopefully it goes well this time. Here in my last month working for Dr. Fathollahi's lab, I feel the pangs of the real world job market calling for me. Don't get me wrong, working in the lab had been very fruitful and rewarding, but I think it is time for me to move past this.

I have been working in Bahram's lab for what is over a year now. I enter the position a lack luster Senior with beady eyes as I was educated by the then current lab researcher Rob and our lab manager Pao. It was pure awesome. Learning how to increase the density of carbon preform pucks with highly pressure carbon mesophase itself was thrilling and watching it all work in progress was something that shouldn't be miss. Creating the various plates that we needed for carbon fiber spinning was amazing as I learned many things in process of machining these plates. And of course, spinning the 15 micron fibers themselve. Oh the joy that overseep from me when I saw that thin black line ramping up on the spool. But of course, all good things come to an end. I did the same thing throughout my last year here at UCSD. Piling and toiling away with the same procedure. All this while discovering and manufacturing new and exciting things in our Senior Design Classes. It made my job felt...enduring to say the least. Don't get me wrong, I sincerely thank Bahram and Pao for giving me this opportunity because it really has been awesome. But I know my true interest lies elsewhere. Outside from UCSD.

Who knows what lies in the job market. Who knows where I'll be a year from today. I just hope that hard work and intregriy is ready to prepare me for what happens next.

Little Time

Steelers win!

Went to Justine's House and got lost. More on that later.

Big news of the day gotta be the Steelers winning the Super Bowl. Fantastic game! I thought it was all over when Fitzergerald ran off a 50+yards TD with 3ish minutes left only to be stunned by Holmes 4 catches in the last drive including a great catch near the endzone sideline.

Before I forget, HAPPY FEBRUARY. Only one more week of the Lunar Festival. >.<

Undefeated No More

Watch a weird dance show on Friday. RANDOM! But damn, can those people move.

Sat was filled with UFC deliciousness. Why BJ Penn!! WHYYYYY Alot of blood, alot of carnage, and one Canadian Flip packed into it.

THE undefeated beer bong champion is no more. Lost to Tamayo and Jose. The streak has stopped at 310. But revenge was sweet. A double pong in the same cup followed by a double pong in the same cup again to finish them. FATALITY!

Good times. Now onto the Super Bowl. Cardinals. Steelers.

Man I wake up wayyyyyy to late now. pick up photos for work and its already 1Pm. FUCK half the day gone already.

Sent Bahram the pictures. Hope he likes it.

Even though I picked up my grades and passed my EIT, I still feel like I regretted my decision. Needa look harder. Needa look brighter.

I need to build a new me.

Man how time flies. Here I am two quarters away from graduation with no future plans on what to do. I already alienated everyone I know and wonder how much farther can I fall. Only one chance now. Hit then restart button and reset this shit.
